Why I am building NoLitigation

By Ram Bhamidi, Founder & CEO, NoLitigation. Cambridge, UK. (23 Sep 2026)

Ten weeks ago I closed a thirteen-year chapter, building Radarr and then carrying it forward inside Genesys, to start something I couldn’t stop thinking about. On 15 September, NoLitigation went into private beta with its first customer.

For most of those ten weeks we’ve been in stealth. I’ve written about the journey without naming it. This page is the fuller story: why I started NoLitigation, the problem we’re solving, how the product works, and where we are today.

Why I started up again!

I’ve done this once before. I co-founded Radarr Technologies, built it with an amazing co-founder Prerna Pant and a small team and saw it acquired by Genesys. Across Radarr and Genesys, that was thirteen years of my working life.

It was a good place to stay. Interesting work, good people. But for about three years, something else kept pulling at me.

I trained as an engineer, then did an MBA, and more recently a Masters in Business Law. Across my whole career, one thing kept bothering me, and the more law I studied, the harder it was to ignore how badly ordinary businesses are served when they fall into a dispute.

About 3 years ago, I started researching the UK and global dispute resolution landscape. Evenings, weekends, long reading lists. I spoke to many legal professionals. The more I learned, the clearer the gap became. And the clearer it became that the technology to close it had finally arrived; and I had the right expertise and experience to tap into it.

In July 2026, I left Genesys to build NoLitigation full time. It wasn’t an easy decision. It was the right one.

The problem we’re solving

Every external dispute starts as something smaller. A customer who feels they were treated unfairly. A refund that didn’t arrive. A decision nobody explained.

Handled well and early, most of these end quietly. Handled badly, they escalate into formal, external disputes: more legal cost, more time, and a process the business no longer controls.

Inside most businesses, grievances are still handled by hand. And handling grievances by hand doesn’t scale.

  • Manual review. Every complaint means a caseworker gathering evidence, checking policy and drafting a response by hand. It often takes days per case, longer at volume.
  • Inconsistent outcomes. Without a structured process, similar complaints get different resolutions depending on who handles them; a real fairness and consistency risk.
  • Team time lost. Skilled compliance and legal staff spend hours or days per case on repetitive evidence review; time that should go to judgement calls, not paperwork.
  • Risk of escalation. An unresolved grievance can turn into a formal, external dispute.

The result: complaint backlogs, inconsistent outcomes, and compliance teams stretched thin.

Since August, I’ve sat down with compliance, legal and customer service leaders across UK businesses. I rarely have to explain any of this. They describe it back to me, in their own words, often before I’ve finished my first question. They live with it every day. This is a real problem.

What we’re building: NoLi Prevent

NoLitigation is building the AI-native infrastructure for business dispute resolution. We’re starting with NoLi Prevent: AI-powered grievance resolution that helps compliance, legal and customer service teams resolve grievances internally, before they ever become a formal dispute.

01

Case submission

Compliance and customer service teams submit the case evidence: correspondence, records and account activity.

02

AI analysis

NoLi Prevent reviews the evidence against your terms and conditions and the applicable laws and licensing regulations, then recommends a resolution in minutes.

03

Human review

A qualified caseworker checks and signs off every recommendation before it reaches the customer.

04

Resolution

The customer accepts and the case closes, with a fully documented record kept for your own files.

Three things sit underneath every case:

  • AI-powered. A recommendation in minutes, not days or weeks.
  • Human-backed. Every case checked by a qualified human caseworker.
  • Audit-ready. A full audit trail, from submission to outcome, generated automatically and ready for regulatory scrutiny.

It’s built for every team that touches a grievance:

TeamWhat NoLi Prevent gives them
ComplianceTime back. NoLi Prevent handles the evidence review and drafting, so the team spends its time on judgement calls, not paperwork
LegalFewer escalations. Every recommendation is checked against your terms, applicable law and licensing rules before a customer sees it
Customer service and operationsFaster resolution. Minutes and hours instead of weeks, and a shorter complaint queue

And it goes straight to the bottom line: customers kept who might otherwise churn, real cost savings from hours freed up, and the cost, time and regulatory scrutiny of an external dispute avoided.

Data is handled the way a compliance team would expect: GDPR compliant, stored and processed in the UK and EU, and encrypted.

Later, NoLi Resolve will handle formal external disputes for the grievances that don’t resolve at NoLi Prevent. For now, our focus is on stopping disputes before they start.

Where we’re starting

Every product needs a first market. Ours is UK gambling.

Operators handle a steady flow of customer complaints under close regulatory scrutiny. Every grievance that escapes adds cost, time and regulatory attention. That makes getting the internal stage right matter more here than almost anywhere.

But the problem isn’t unique to gambling. Any business with meaningful complaint volume has it. Our private beta is open to UK businesses across gambling, e-commerce, financial services, insurance, telecoms and more.

Where we are today

Ten weeks in, NoLi Prevent is in private beta, open to select partners.

The team. Right now there are two of us full time: me, and our Head of AI/ML, who leads the AI that reads each case and reasons over it. We have another 4 people working part time with us right now. We’re based at The Bradfield Centre in Cambridge.

The beta. Our first customer is using NoLi Prevent on real grievances. We’re watching closely: what works without explanation, where people pause, what they ask that we hadn’t thought to ask ourselves. Every one of those moments shapes the product.

What’s next. We’re welcoming a small number of UK businesses into the private beta, to shape the product with us before general launch.

Frequently asked questions

What is NoLitigation?

NoLitigation is building the AI-native infrastructure for business dispute resolution. It is based at the Bradfield Centre in Cambridge, UK.

What is NoLi Prevent?

NoLi Prevent is NoLitigation’s first product: AI-powered grievance resolution that helps compliance, legal and customer service teams resolve grievances internally, before they ever become a formal dispute.

How does NoLi Prevent work?

In four steps. Teams submit the case evidence; NoLi Prevent’s AI reviews it against the business’s terms and conditions and the applicable laws and licensing regulations, and recommends a resolution; a qualified caseworker reviews and signs it off; and the customer accepts, closing the case with a fully documented record.

Does AI make the final decision?

No. A qualified human caseworker reviews and signs off every AI recommendation before the customer sees it, and every step is logged in a full audit trail.

How is customer data protected?

NoLi Prevent is GDPR compliant, stores and processes data in the UK and EU, and encrypts case evidence and records.
